Well we finally made it home late last night and got Daniel all set up. He did really well on the trip home, after we made a few stops and held him so he got a break from the car seat. He seemed to be really taking it all in looking out the window in amazement. I think the sun was the biggest thrill for him as it came through the trees. He did seem to get a little confused once it got dark and all those lights were flying around, but we pretty much left the light on in the car. He was up most of the night a little restless as it was a long trip, but he has settled back down this morning and is currently visiting with his big sister. I think we've said this before but we'll say it again. Thanks to everyone's encouragement, prayers, nursing, care, love, and overall support in this long and trying time. Hopefully everything has gained a little something from this in remember just how sweet and precious your health is, and that you cannot and should not take it for granted.....you just never know what tomorrow will bring.
