Phase II

Well today begins the next phase of Daniel's life. As everyone knows he's spent the past 5 and 1/2 months in the hospital so anything he experiences now is pretty much for the first time as he has never been in this setting before. We had a visit from both Grandma and Mema today and of course both of the kids got a chance to spend some time with Daniel. Daniel really enjoys spending time with his older brother or sister. Meghan put on her scrubs to help out mom with "nursing" duties. Nurse Barb would be so proud of her little apprentice. Today started out a little rocky but through the progression of the today I think we are all starting to get into the groove of things. There's been little bumps today getting started with the oxygen company as well as a few things with Daniel that our first thoughts are to go ahead and call the doctor, but we managed fine. We'll probably have a busy week coming up as we are going to start having our doctor's visits starting tommorow, so posts will more than likely be a little less frequent but who knows, we won't know what tommorow is bringing until we get there.....
