I just want to let everyone know that my kids have the greatest dad. He would do anything for them, and he has shown true strength through all of this. We are very lucky to have him in our lives.
Daniel went up to 8 liters of oxygen today. He continued to have a hard time breathing. The breathing tube(et tube) had to be placed again today. He had been on part TPN, part formula for his feeds but now he is just on the formula. He is getting 41mls an hour, so not quite full feeds. Today was the last day of his antibiotics. He was getting the antibiotics for the staff in the et tube. He spiked another fever today so he is back on the cooling blanket. His heart rate was up last night but it is back to normal today. The fever and high heart rate were not together so they do not think that one caused the other. He also had another "blue spell." It happened after the breathing tube was in so I am not sure why it happens. I hope this problem can be figured out. The cause is unknown as of right now.

Just wanted to say, "Happy Father's Day Jason!" Keep it up! You're doing a fantastic job with everything you have been faced with. We know it's not easy celebrating such a holiday while one of your children is in the ICU, but take this time to be grateful for what you have been blessed with, for this is what makes you a real life hero...a true father...and that IS YOU! Again, Happy Father's Day Jason! You deserve it!
