Friday update

Yesterday I was told that Daniel was running a fever. He has been running fevers on and off for a while. All of the tests they have done to check for infection have been negative. Today they are doing a lumbar puncture to remove some of his spinal fluid. He could possibly have an infection of the spinal fluid and that could cause fevers. He pulled out the breathing tube again this morning and they tried to leave it out but it was only out for 4 hours. He still is getting out a lot of mucus. So they replaced it. They think Daniel may be having seizures. They may be happening from the fevers. We don't know why it is happening. A test was done while he was sleeping to look at brain activity and it was normal while he was sleeping. I think he would have to be tested while he was having a seizure to prove that it is a seizure.
